How Adjust turned neurodiversity training into an always-on digital service

Adjust is a UK consultancy that trains employers to support neurodivergent staff. ShiftedLabs built them Ask Adjust, an AI assistant that answers managers' questions from Adjust's own guidance, plus a free neuro-inclusion audit that generates leads and an outbound CRM that sends from Adjust's own mailbox. Adjust can now bundle year-round digital support with every training contract, instead of leaving clients on their own after the session.

The problem

Adjust’s training is excellent, but it happens on a day. The questions come later: a manager preparing for a difficult conversation, an HR lead reviewing a job advert, a recruiter unsure what adjustment to offer. Between sessions, clients had nowhere to go but an email to the Adjust team.

Adjust also needed a steadier way to win new clients. Cold emails about training are easy to ignore.

What we built

1. Ask Adjust, the assistant

Client staff log in with a one-time email code and ask questions in plain English. Answers come from Adjust’s own guides, slide decks and articles, not the open internet, and link to the guide they came from. Users can save conversations, email themselves a transcript or download the full guide. Wording follows Adjust’s house style, including terms the sector has moved away from.

2. The neuro-inclusion audit

A free, public seven-question check built on Adjust’s seven pillars: policies, environment, culture, recruitment, manager training, employee support and colleague awareness.

Results appear instantly, with no email required first. That is a deliberate choice: competing audits ask for an address before showing anything. An AI-written commentary follows a moment later, and the visitor can then leave their email for a detailed report. Every completed audit lands in the CRM with its scores, so sales knows exactly where to start the conversation.

3. A CRM built for outreach

Companies, contacts, dynamic lists, templates with merge fields, and campaigns that send from Adjust’s own Microsoft 365 mailbox, with safe sending limits, reply and bounce detection, and automatic unsubscribe handling. Audit links in each email are personalised by name, company and sector, so prospects land on an audit that already greets them.

4. Admin and usage reporting

Adjust creates client company accounts, sees usage per company, and reviews conversations to spot what clients are struggling with. That feeds back into new guides and training.

The result

A product to sell, not just a service. Adjust can include year-round access to Ask Adjust with every training contract, billed per client company, so the relationship keeps going after the training day.

Leads that arrive with context. Each audit submission shows the prospect’s weakest pillars, which is the natural opening for a sales call.

Outreach without extra tools. Sector campaigns, starting with a 233-contact legal-sector campaign in September 2026, run from Adjust’s own mailbox with no third-party sending platform.
